Class: Standup 102 w/Tracy Dolan [Apr/May]
This class is for people who have A) taken Standup 101, B) been performing regularly at open mics for at least a year, or C) both!
DAYS: Mondays, April 22—May 27
TIME: 5:30pm—7:30pm
PERFORMANCE: Thurs, May 30th
EARLY REGISTRATION (before 3/15**): $350

PREREQUISITE: Standup 101 or 1 year of standup performing
(If you have never taken a class or tried standup, this is not the class for you!)
About the Class
So you’ve dipped your toe into standup and now you want to take things to the next level!
Your experienced instructor, comedian Tracy Dolan, will take you through a series of writing and performance exercises designed to up your standup comedy game!
You’ll cover writing in different styles, hosting shows, crowd work, the business of getting booked on shows, and most importantly, how to write material for open mics and shows, and how to use those performances to develop the best possible material.
This class ends with a performance for a live audience, where each student will perform their best 7-8 minutes. (Video of your set included with tuition price!)
About the Instructor
Tracy Dolan is a standup comedian who performs all over the state of Vermont and throughout New England.
She has been featured in Boston’s Women in Comedy Festival, New York’s She Devil Comedy Festival, and the Green Mountain Comedy Festival.
She has also been a finalist in the Vermont’s Funniest Comedian contest.
Policies & Procedures
Covid-19 Policy: Vaccinations and boosters are recommended but not required. Masking is at the student’s discretion. All classes take place in our spacious showroom, with no more than 15 people.
Cancellation Policy: We will refund 100% of tuition for cancellations made 14 days (or more) before the start of any class. Tuition cannot be refunded on cancellations made fewer than 14 days before the class. Contact us if you wish to cancel.
Concerns About Payment? If you have the desire to learn, we want you to have the opportunity! We frequently offer installment plans and partial or full scholarships (need-based and diversity). If you are having trouble affording this class, contact us to work out an arrangement.
