Part-Time Line/Prep Cook.

ABOUT THE POSITION

VCC is seeking part-time staff to work in our kitchen. Our space is clean and the staff you’ll be working with is a bunch of friendly team-players who are down-to-earth and professional.

In this job, you’ll be tasked with prepping and cooking food, running orders to customers, running the dishwasher and more. Our kitchen is smaller than most restaurants, with rushes at showtimes, and downtime in between to prep, clean, communicate with your coworkers, etc.

You’ll receive good pay and work with a great team.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be available nights and weekends, be trustworthy and punctual, able to work on feet for 6-8 hours, and able to lift 50 lbs.

You must also be available on New Year’s Eve (December 31, 2026)!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment, and be self-motivated during less busy times to work on projects.

Tasks may include, but aren’t limited to: preparing food for service; running food to customers; operating a commercial dishwasher, cleaning; restocking; bussing tables, etc.

Experience in food service not required, but preferred.

Part-Time Bartender.

ABOUT THE POSITION

VCC is seeking a part-time bartender. Our staff is friendly, down-to-earth, smart, and provides excellent customer service throughout our guests’ experience at the venue.

Experience as a bartender and knowledge of craft beer, cocktails is preferred.

Must possess good verbal communication skills; self-awareness and motivation; ability to work efficiently as part of a team and under pressure in a fast paced environment, and empathy for others.

• Cleaning, organizing and restocking bar equipment and inventory

• Experience with point of sale systems (Toast a plus)

• Remaining informed about talent and menus at the venue

• Answering guest questions, providing excellent customer service

Part-Time Waitstaff.

ABOUT THE POSITION

VCC is seeking wait staff for its comedy showroom. (Opportunity to cross train in bar/other areas may also arise, if you are interested.)

Our staff is friendly, down-to-earth, and provides excellent customer service throughout our guests’ experience at the venue. Food service experience preferred, but not required.

Must possess excellent communication skills; self-awareness and motivation; ability to work efficiently as part of a team and under pressure, and empathy for others. Department of Liquor Control certification is required for this position (training will be provided if necessary). Experience working in a live performance venue and/or being a fan of live comedy is a plus.
